I found my passion for making dolls about 28 years ago. Starting with paper mache, porcelain dolls, modeling and now Reborn's. I have been to many trade fairs in Germany, England, America and Spain as a visitor and exhibitor and over the time I have developed the desire to set up a trade fair myself. I am supported by my partner Birger Engel (who has been known from this scene for many years) and friends and colleagues in the scene.
This means I can incorporate the thoughts and wishes of exhibitors and visitors into the planning of the event.
Not always easy.
Based on the experiences of the exhibitors on this day and the opinions of the visitors, the desire arose to organize it twice a year.
Unfortunately, there are far too few offers in this area in terms of exhibitions, and events in this subject area are hardly offered, especially in the Rhine-Main area and especially in Limburg and the surrounding area.
That's why it's a challenge for me to create such a wonderful event where national and international exhibitors come to not only exhibit their handmade works of art, but also sell them. From antique dolls and bears, to new artist dolls, to stuffed animals/bears, accessories and materials for making, clothing for dolls of all kinds, everything is there. Very special specimens await you in the fantasy area, where everyone can be enchanted by elves, fairies and other mythical creatures.
I am sure that our exchange will attract audiences from far and wide. In addition, all artwork is handmade and not available wholesale. On the contrary: the artists have all projected their passion and skills into their objects in order to be able to take part in this exhibition. In my opinion, that's exactly what makes this event so special.
